Dry Month of October, but Congrats to the Giants!

This is going to be a completely random post.

Yeah... I realize that this month has been totally post-less. My camera should be coming back any day now. Also, I have yet to try opening my iPhoto. Kinda nervous... it's been freezing and I am scared to check again. Sighh... all the photos of my life since I got this laptop are on there... and a lot has happened in that time, so I would be really sad if it were to all freeze away.

By the way, the Giants won the World series yesterday! 4-0 Sweep in Detroit. Cool huh? Can you tell I'm not as excited as I should be? Yeah, I know I'm lame, and would get some hate if I put it on FB. So I'll post it here. Some of you know that I kinda have a thing for Miguel Cabrera. My favorite baseball player of all time. The reason I got into/started following baseball in the first place. I fell for him when I channel surfed in 2003. (Also lame, I know... but sometimes you really can't help who you crush on.) I followed him on the Marlins til they beat the Yankees in the World Series and have this weird attraction to him ever since. Don't worry, it's nothing serious and I've got it under control. 

But yeah, it's weird, and I can't get over it. But here he comes, now with Detroit to face our beloved Giants.  2 good things together, I was really looking for this World Series! Definitely a love hate. Of course I want the Giants to win, but there is always that pull towards Cabrera and wanting him to do well too. Oh yeah, the Florida Marlins are now called the Miami Marlins. What is up with that?! Ugh. So ugly now, and not the team that I first liked.

I am totally procrastinating and most of you probably don't care about my weird fetish. But here he is when I first saw him:

But he was the last to strike out for the Giants to win the WS. Struck out the Triple Crown winner. Ouch. It was not the ending I wanted, kinda pierced my heart, but nonetheless...

Now it's time for the Niners to do some damage! Proud to be from the Bay, I must say!

I just have this weird urge to blog every time I am studying for midterms. haha.
