CORE Retreat with a Sweet Crew

CORE Retreat at Brannon Island!!!

It was a nice weekend to just get away from Davis to plan for Compass this coming year.

We also got the honor of having 2 alumni come back to visit us... Josephine and Gabriel!!! WoooHOoooOO! They helped us tremendously and we would have been groveling on the floor without them, no doubt. It was nice to just talk and catch up with them and I really appreciated the fact that they both took time out of their job lives to help us out. They made the planning so much more enjoyable and efficient!

We got a lot done, hopefully we can put all the ideas we talked about into action! I'm excited for Compass this year. We really hope to make it a place for seekers/believers to feel at home and to also feel hungry and excited to be fed with the Word of God. Let's make this happen!!!

Oh man, Josephine intro'd this game that was a mix between Loaded Questions and something else... but it was HILARIOUSSSSS!!! It was such a great game, especially with the amount of people we had. It shed light on some interesting facts about each person, and it was just... an ab-burning/silent laughter type game. I loved it. Thanks Josephine!
