The final MIC 101 midterm was today... blah. I did better on it than the previous 2, but it's already too late.
We had our EXB 104L presentation about speed skating and cross country skiing for our final lab day thing... we were totally unprepared... but we pulled it out of our butt again. And we got lucky since there weren't as many questions as the other groups. Phew!
mmm... gushersss |
He's makin blueberry and chocolate pancakes for us, and he cleaned everything after too! THANKS! |
he's in the brown over there doing tai co (sp?) |
This was the most stressful week I think. Busy busy. So for Small Groups we just had some time at the side alley of the ARC to just sit, talk, and pray together. Kate was our new addition today and she is a nice and bubble girl. We shared our thanksgivings, prayer requests, and about our family dynamics back at home. We came to a nice thought about how much more we miss our families now that we have some separation and time apart from them. It makes us miss them that much more and it can help to revive once not so loving relationships.
After that, Winnie went back home for homework while the rest of us went to play badminton! Tani and Katrina were already there so we join and play with them.
Erica, Tiff and Kate all claimed to not have really played before. All true except for Kate... she was a beast with no mercy! My goodness... ahaha. It was so intense and surprising! Well not really, letting her Asian side come out like that...
But it was really Tiff and Erica's first time actually playing. It was a little rocky at first, but they got good FAST! One of the many nice things about badminton :) But seriously, in the beginning... the rallys lasted less than 10 seconds... but by the end of the night there were some 2 minute + ones. They got some realllllyyyyy close games in too. Really great improvement for the Chans who haven't played before. They also had really good communication. I have a video if blogger will let me post without deleting... -_-
So proud of my girls :)
Here are some badminton shots. My new camera can take better action shots, but it snaps like 3 at a time... i can't tell which is best so I will just post em all.
oh yeahhh! |
hiding up there and having kate do all the work... typical... |
Awww... Davis has some pretty nice facilities...
We see such a nice and flawless looking court, so Taneesh and I decide to do something that I haven't done in a looooong time... we decided to try and do some liners, aka suicides!
Lol... I was breathless and my chest hurt. Ouch. Comes to show how out of shape I have become.
But while we were huffing and puffing down there, a worker comes down to shoo us off. Apparently they have cameras and they sent him down to get us off...
LOL.. i wonder how ridiculous we looked on camera while struggling like no other. If i were them.. i would stay quiet and watch more on the camera. that would have been a funny sight. tehe.
