I'm in Sac right now at my cousins, Winnie and Steve's new place... it's soooooo huge! Crazy how big and cheap houses can be out here.
After a chaotic morning of running around and getting pictures for my fam... (I really need to stop and work on this last minute business that I always pull)... I put it together and head off to Sac... of course while I was doing that... our NINERS pulled out another win versus the Seahawks! Oh yessss... I hope the saints lose to the falcons monday night. I really hope we get the #2 seed so we can get a bye the first week of playoffs.
Ooops... sorry for that sports detour.. but yes. We head out to Sac for the family christmas celebration!
The foood was gooood and I ate a lot, even with my uncle telling me how fat I am now... -_-
Winnie and Auntie Jamy put together these games for us that were hilarious! They got the ideas from a HK game show, I believe. The first game was just charades, then we played a CRAZY balloon popping game, then a drinking game that had a spinny thing and some have peppers in it, some are filled with vinegar, random nasty stuff...
Let me just tell you... most everyone's voices are sore and hoarse... I think tonight confirmed it... my family, or mom's side at least... is CRAZY! In a good way of course! haha. Everything they do is loud and wild and FUN! It was soooooo funny to watch. If you think I'm crazy, you haven't seen nothing yet! I appreciate them all so much and get a glimpse of why I am a little of who I am...
After all the games, we do a White Elephant... again... INTENSE! The stealing was all over the place once the good gifts were opened and my family did what they do best... laugh and scream at each other! I LOVE IT!
This is the 2nd time Winnie and Steve hosted a Christmas party... first in their Natomas house, and now in their new HOUSE that is a bit farther away, but still in Sac. They got us each a gift... a customized MUG! Each with our own personalized pictures... that must have taken FORVER! Sheesh ka bobs! I know how long it takes to find the right pictures... and they did it for everyone of us.. i'm in awe. And so grateful!
I am SO thankful for my family and I really do praise God for providing me with such people and this environment to grow up in. I do hope and pray that my uncles will stop smoking and drinking so much, and hopefully I will be able to influence my little-er cousins to maybe be a follower of Christ as well. No one is Christian except for us, so it can be hard... but I am going to try to be a good role model for my little cousins and hopefully first be an influence there.
Woahhh... long post. I, once again, did not mean it to be this long. haha. But yeahhh... just wanted to document this night so I can try to jot down the full experience that I was exposed to tonight. hehe.
