PHAC Carwash and a Full Day of IMs!

Church in the morning. We did a case study on Abraham. Romans 4:1-16

The main point was that Father Abe was justified through faith and not by works. Whenever God tested him, he passed because he trusted God every single time on multiple occasions.

"Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all."
-Romans 4:16

Seaton and I couldn't stay for sunday school because we had a PHAC carwash to help out in. But we stopped by Subways for an Italian BMT. Scrumptious. SubwayS <3

Seaton and I volunteered to hold up free car wash signs in the roads by KFC in hopes to see familiar faces as they came back from church. It was a hot and tiring 3 hours. Who would have thought we would be one of those people trying to hold up signs and get people to try and want a free carwash? Some helpful people did stop by though! Thanks! It was to support the Paul Hom Health Fair coming up and I think we raised a good amount of money through donations, although I saw that the cars were not completely spotless. tehehe. Oh well.

Vince, Minerva, Torrance, Henry and Jenn stopped by to chat with us in the streets as we were suffering and get their car washed. Thanks for the support!

Here is what Seaton and I were doing: http://jensum19.blogspot.com/2011/10/busy-busyyy.html

Thanks for getting me food from church. Teef!  Compass cooked today.

Then for a full day of IMs! Frisbee, soccer and football coming right up!

We had a cut throat football match against the other asian team. They had this guy that was as fast as Flash! The QB just launched it and he would catch it every time... SO FAST!

It was heart attack moments at the end, but we made it through and came out with a W! Fun game.

We had a Small Group leaders meeting at 106 tonight as well. [Pics seen on Jenn's blog] It's pretty cool. This year all the leaders are most of the Senior class and Lindsay. And I think Jon Tung has decided to do it too! NICE! It's just pretty cool that the leaders are so intertwined and I think this will be a great opportunity for our class to get closer spiritually. Yay! :D

Then comes the studying time, which always ends with eating and procrastination.
