Cut Throat Volleyball

It's always so difficult waking up for internship. It's super cold in the mornings to bike and I have been going in late. My supervisors are super chill and lenient though. And I decided catching the bus at the Mondavi is much more convenient. And I can leave home a little later. Not much happened there today, just the normal assisting patients with putting on casts and braces and stuff.

There was this one girl who was only around 15 who had the most decorated room I have ever seen. She was a huge Johny Depp fan so his posters were everywhere! And it also felt like disneyland with posters and backdrops and her halloween costume (cinderella dress) all over her room. That was quite a sight.

Second to last volleyball game and finally we get to play a team that looks evenly matched. Aka not tall and gigantic white people. They were the Japanese Club (Ellen's big was the captain!). We were excited.

We won the first game, no problem. We lost focus and lost the next game and they were also rallying and passing a lot better than us. 

It got to the third game and they came out strong, getting the first few points. We caught up and were neck and neck til the end. It was so nerve wracking! At one point we were ahead a good amt and only needed like 2 points or something, but we let em catch up! AIYA! Those moments are the worse. When you just want that 1 point.

Anyways, Seaton killed it at the end and we WONNNNN!!! WOOHOOOOOO!!! 1st WIN and it was such a great one! Our team chemistry has improved tremendously! Did we get better? Or are the other teams getting worse? Dunnooo.. but it was a lot of fun and we all worked really well together to WIN!

Some of us stayed at the ARC longer after that to keep playing. We didn't leave til 1130ish or so. Almost 3 hours of volleyball! So much fun! But had to go back home to the torture that is waiting for me... lab report. -_-
